Your Visit
With our big day approaching fast, we wanted to make sure you're all set to enjoy our wedding weekend to the fullest. Below, you'll find everything you need to know. If you have any questions or need further details, feel free to reach out.
Who do I contact with questions about my stay?
Please contact Chiara Ferrari, our dedicated host at Laqua by the Lake for specific questions about spa reservations, activities, hotel transport and more. Apart from this, guests are always welcome to text or email us directly.

The resort is full, what other options do I have?
We've reserved the resort for our guests but understand some of you may have to stay at a nearby hotel due to capacity depending on when you made your reservation. If you have yet to book your stay, please don’t hesitate to reach out for local recommendations.
Is there parking onsite?
Yes, the resort offers onsite valet parking at no cost to our guests. As a reminder, the hotel will offer transport to those flying into Milan at a minimal cost. The resort will send a car with a multi-lingual driver to fetch you from the airport. This is a helpful option for those who speak limited Italian and are new to the area. Please contact Silvia (above) to arrange for pick-up.
When should I arrive?
Guests are encouraged to arrive on Friday to enjoy a day relaxing by the pool or at the spa. Additionally, you can expect to gather with arriving friends and family for a pre-wedding night pizza party and welcome cocktails.
Please note that we have secured accommodations for our guests at a special rate on Saturday, September 28th, 2024. The rate is only available for guests on this night.
To book, please Chiara at eventi.lake@laquaresorts.it.
Will guests have access to the spa?
Yes, we have arranged for our guests to enjoy spa services at a special rate. Please check back for an update on pricing as well as booking information.
Are there restaurants within walking distance of the resort?
Yes. There are a few small stores, local eateries and beverage stores within a 5-10 minute walking distance. All rooms come equipped with a full kitchen so we encourage guests to stop by the local market for groceries to last you the weekend.
Guests are invited to join us for a pizza party on Friday evening and will be served dinner following the ceremony on Saturday. On Sunday morning, guests are also invited to join us for a goodbye brunch onsite at the resort.
How many guests will there be?
We have intentionally selected an intimate venue to provide 50 guests with a unique and memorable culinary experience. Unfortunately, the restaurant is therefore unable to cater to additional guests.
With that said, we recognize that we were unable to invite many close friends and family and are in the midst of planning a celebration to welcome extended friends and family in New York City this October.
What should I wear?
Black tie for the wedding and comfortable resort wear for the rest of the weekend! It's pretty simple. We want you to feel comfortable, so wear what makes you feel good! For men, we recommend a suit, but, if you feel so obliged, we encourage you to have some fun and step it up for that James Bond look. For women, we suggest fun, bright dresses.
Given that many of you have reached out with questions about what to wear, we created a Pinterest board with a few suggestions.
What should I pack for the weekend?
September in northern Italy is very pleasant. The average maximum temperature in the region is 24°C (75°F) and the average minimum temperature is 14°C (57°F). Depending on how you plan to spend the weekend, we put together a few packing suggestions to help you get the most out of your trip.
Swimsuit, sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, sandals
Athletic clothing, tennis shoes or hiking boots
Cool clothing such as linen, shorts or sundresses
Light jacket or sweater for evenings
Travel adaptor for international guests
Are children allowed?
No, we don’t have kids yet. We want to enjoy the little time we have left before starting our own family. Very sorry, friends! :)
How do I register for a weekend activity?
We have planned a handful of informal, optional drop-in activities for our guests over the course of the weekend. With that, there is no commitment but we simply ask that you submit this form for headcount planning purposes.
Is there anything else I need to know?
Activities with limited interest will be removed for the weekend. If you want to participate, let us know and we can put you in touch with someone who can help you register independently! If we think of anything else, we’ll let you know!
